Street food is the essence of Indian cuisine. These food taste best when scooped onto a paper plate or wrapped in foil and eaten standing up.

You cannot turn your back at the sight of these amazing delicacies.

So, here we list some of the blessed foods to try out to lift up your spirits:

1. GOLGAPPE

As a real hardcore food-lover, we tend to go high over heels at the sight of a golgappa vendor. The tiny golgappa are poked with a hole then half stuffed with boiled-mashed potatoes and chickpeas, seasoned with spices and filled with flavoured water. Valentines day : meaning of love

You got to eat them fast, so that, golgappa remains crunchy and the spice-filled water will collapse into your mouth with the potatoes and chickpeas.

2. PAV BHAJI

Every time I visit street market major cravings arise as soon as my eyes are laid over ALOO TIKKI.  This savoury dish prepared with an amazing blend of flavorful ingredients keeps us drooling over.

I get that it is a little bit too oily but ain’t there anything as satisfying as this food. Trust me!

The aloo tikki is deep-fried to perfection. It is stuffed with boiled mashed potatoes, mixed with fine chopped chilly, ginger, balanced spices. Later, it is served with the combination of tamarind and green chutney on top which is a perfect paradise for all tikki lovers. Letter : To desire from my heart!

So Crispy aloo tikki is the best cheat food to end your day with. Wink!

 4. PANEER TIKKAS

Hail! All vegetarians.

This dish is a special dedication to all vegan as it is an alternative to Chicken Tikka and other non-veg dishes.

The crispy chunks of cottage cheese are marinated with spices and then arranged on a stick with capsicum, onion, and tomatoes. These sticks are then grilled to perfection, seasoned with lemon juice and chaat masala. It is sometimes served with tamarind and green chutney.

There are so many variations to this dish. One of which, it can be served with gravy and it is called paneer tikka masala. Pizza Hut and Dominos’s serve paneer tikka as their toppings on their pizza. 5. CHAAT

Whenever we can’t decide where to go what to eat we go for chaat and love to have it anytime.

It is common around India with many variations of its own. In some parts of the country, it’s known as Papdi Chaat, Sev Puri, Aloo Chat, and Bhelpuri.

In papdi chaat, the vendor top each papdi with mashed boiled potatoes, chopped and salt, chaat masala. chopped green chillies,  mint coriander chutney and chopped coriander. Then squeeze a bit of lemon juice. Food time

In sev puri, there are crisp, flat fried discs made from whole wheat flour served with sweet chutney, red chutney, sev, and boiled potatoes, chopped onions, and tomatoes.

Bhelpuri is made with puffed rice, tossed with vegetables and flavoured chutneys. It commonly consists of boiled potatoes diced onions and tomatoes. the mixture is then spiced with salt, chillies and chat masala.

Aloo Chaat is commonly deep fried potatoes served with coriander chutney and mixes spices added with a tinge of lemon juice.
